I had to restore my iPhone from a backup and in the process wiped out my Authenticator\/two factor information, which disabled Homebridge authentication. No sweat, from Terminal.app:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
sudo hb-service stop<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Navigator to your home folder and Homebridge settings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
cd ~\/.homebridge<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now rename auth.json:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
mv auth.json auth_old.json<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Restart homebridge:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
sudo hb-service start<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And with a browser navigate to you\u2019ll be able to authenticate with admin\/admin through Homebridge\u2019s web user interface. In the upper righthand corner of your web browser\u2019s tap the 3 dots, tap \u201cUser Accounts\u201d, and finally tap \u201cENABLE 2FA\u201d to re-enable two factor authentication.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
